Vulnerable Residents Policy Review
Thank you for joining us!
"There are many changes that can take place in someone’s life which might make them feel vulnerable, such as illness, financial hardship or a deterioration in their mental health. All colleagues at settle need to be aware of how vulnerability may impact our residents and their ability to access services."
Update: 8th August
Thank you for all the feedback on our Vulnerable Residents policy! We can now share that we received a total of 11 insightful comments. Your input is invaluable, and we can’t wait to dive into your suggestions.
The Vulnerable Residents policy is a really important document outlining our commitment to ensuring all residents have equal access to our services. It details our approach to identifying, understanding, and addressing the specific needs of our residents.
Here’s what we heard:
Residents are keen to learn how settle identifies vulnerabilities
Residents are interested in understanding how settle supports those with vulnerabilities
Residents appreciate the importance of training colleagues on vulnerabilities and mental health
We are now reviewing all feedback and revising the policy based on what you said and will publish the updated version with all your thoughts included soon.
We aim for the policy to genuinely reflect residents' priorities.
