✨ The Settle Community Benefit Fund

Do you have an idea that could make your community a better place to live? The Settle Community Benefit Fund is here to help! The fund forms part of our agreement with North Hertfordshire Council to reinvest money from right to buy buy sales straight back into our communities, to help residents thrive in their homes. We’ve secured £50,000 to support projects designed by residents, for residents. You can apply for up to £3,000 to bring your idea to life.

What we're looking for

We want to support projects that help people thrive at home and in their neighbourhoods. To be successful, your project should fit at least one of our key themes:

  • Community Wellbeing - activities that support vulnerable groups, improve health and wellbeing, or create inclusive spaces.
  • Safety & Sustainability - projects that make communities safer, greener, and more sustainable.
  • Opportunities - training, education, digital inclusion, employment, or greener technology.

Who can apply

Anyone! From residents and local groups to charities and clubs – as long as at least half the people who benefit are Settle residents.

How to apply

When to apply

Funding rounds open throughout the year, with the first window open now!

A note from Linsay Baverstock, Head of People & Resident Experience

"The Community Benefit Fund is a brand-new initiative for Settle, designed to put residents at the heart of change. We know the best ideas come from the people who live in our communities every day. I’m really excited to see the creativity and passion from our residents – and to support projects that will make a real difference.”
