Tenure policy review

At SettleParadigm our aim is to let our homes through fair and transparent processes, including working with local partners' lettings arrangements, Choice Based Lettings.

Update: Under review - 7 May

Thank you for the feedback we received on our tenure policy. We're pleased to share that we received a total of 9 comments from 3 survey responses. Your contributions are essential to improving this policy, and we're currently reviewing your suggestions.

📢 Here's what we heard

  • 89% of residents thought the language in the policy was clear
  • 89% of residents thought the policy was easy to understand.

There were two core themes raised by residents around our tenure policy:

  1. Residents found the policy well laid out, easy to follow and understand
  2. Residents would like clearer explanations of certain terms, such as "tenure".

We're now reviewing all feedback and revising the policy based on your input. We'll publish the updated version reflecting your thoughts soon.

We'll always offer homes with tenancies, licences, or terms of occupation, in line with our charitable purpose and with the housing law and regulation that applies at the time.

The tenancy agreements we will offer to residents provide the basis of the tenure and the housing type that match their individual needs, creating a partnership with residents so that they can live in their homes successfully for the long term.

To make sure the policy promotes fairness, transparency, and consistency, we'd love to hear from you.

Your views will help shape how we continue to support residents and should take no more than 10 minutes to complete.
