Neighbourhood Action Day - 30 April

We’ll be at Moselle House making improvements and speaking to residents on Thursday 30 April - and we’d love for you to be part of it.

What's happening on the day?

Settle colleagues will be on hand for you to ask any questions or hear what's on your mind.

We'll also be providing:

  • Free skip for any unwanted household or garden items (if you can’t be there on the day, you’re welcome to leave items in the cordoned off area the night before).
    We also offer a collection service for residents who may need extra support - complete this form at least 48 hours in advance
  • Litter picking and a general tidy-up around the building
  • Improvements to the roof garden, including the raised beds
  • New signage to replace the older signs
  • Clearly marked storage areas for bikes and buggies
  • Support from partner organisations offering advice and guidance.

We've been listening to your feedback and focusing on the things you've told us matter most. Below, you'll find updates on what we're doing and what's coming next.

🗑️ Waste and fly-tipping

We're improving the bin area and signage to make it easier to use and help reduce issues with waste and fly-tipping.

  • DoneBroken bin replaced
  • DoneBin store cleaned multiple times
  • In progressPest control carried out, with improvements seen
  • PlannedLonger-term solutions being explored.
🅿️ Parking, security, and repairs

As well as improving how parking is managed and accessed, we’re also looking at ways to strengthen security, reduce unauthorised access, and make parking clearer and safer.

  • In progressANPR enforcement is on the way
  • In progressVisitor and contractor access is being reviewed
  • In progressNew gate and fencing options are being explored
  • In progressA simple pin-code access system is being considered
  • PlannedFuture upgrades may be reviewed as part of longer-term improvements
  • PlannedPothole repairs are due to take place once tree work is complete
  • PlannedLine marking will also be added to make parking clearer.

We know storage space is limited and using the stairs isn't always easy - this is why we're creating clearer, safer storage spaces in shared areas.

  • DoneWe've worked with fire safety experts to agree marked areas for bikes and buggies
  • PlannedStorage spaces will be marked out to help make better use of the area.

We're improving space and visibility around the building.

We're improving shared internal spaces.

  • DoneThe rear stairwell has been repaired and repainted
