Help shape our new brand

Following the merger between Settle and Paradigm, we're now developing a new brand to support the work of the merged organisation.

We're inviting residents from both organisations to help shape what the new brand will look like.

Update: 9 March

Thank you to everyone who shared their ideas for what our new organisation could be called. Across both colleagues and residents, we’re pleased to share we received 252 name suggestions from 130 responses!

What happens next?

We’ve now collated all the name suggestions and are reviewing them carefully.

Once we’ve created a shortlist, we’ll start exploring draft brand ideas in more detail with residents during our upcoming webinar on Monday 23 March.

Your feedback will help shape the final decision, and we’re looking to share the new name and branding in the summer - watch this space!

Update: 23 February

Thanks to everyone who has already registered their interest in joining a webinar at the end of March! There’s still time to register if you haven’t done so yet - you can find more details below.

What should we call our new organisation?

As the project moves forward, we’re now inviting residents to suggest a new name for the organisation - one that reflects who we are, what we stand for, and something that both residents and colleagues can be proud of.

Between 23 February and 9 March, you can submit up to three suggestions.

Think modern. Think dynamic. Think something that works for everyone.

Previously

Throughout January and February, we invited residents to register their interest in joining our branding webinar on Monday 23 March.

Here's what residents taking part can expect

  • An informal webinar with about 10-15 other residents, lasting around 90 minutes
  • A chance to explore draft ideas and designs for our new brand and share your feedback
  • A discussion about what works well and what we could improve.

FAQs

Who can take part?

We want to hear from a diverse range of residents, including different household types, backgrounds and experiences.

Sometimes we receive a high level of interest for resident project groups. When this happens, residents are selected to make sure a broad and diverse mix of voices are represented.

What happens next?

After 9 March, we’ll let residents know if they’ve been selected to take part in the project group.

We'll then contact selected residents and provide more details about how to join the webinar.

I’ve registered my interest, but haven’t heard back - what should I do?

We’ll be in touch with everyone who registered their interest, including those not selected at this stage.

If you have any questions or would like to check anything, you can always get in touch with us here.

Will I receive anything for my time?

Yes, we’ll be offering a £15 retail voucher as a small thank you to residents who take part, to recognise the time and input you’ve given. Full details will be shared with selected participants.

Why is resident involvement important?

By involving residents, we make sure the new brand is engaging and works well for everyone. Your voice shapes our decisions and improves our work.

When residents are actively involved, it helps us make better choices that lead to improved outcomes for everyone.

  • CLOSED: We're no longer accepting interest.

We're inviting residents from both organisations to help shape what the new brand will look like, by joining a webinar at the end of March to share your feedback.

If you’re interested in taking part, please register your interest below by 12 March. We’ll only use the details you share to contact you about the webinar and next steps.

  • CLOSED: This survey has concluded.

As SettleParadigm evolves into a new organisation, we need a new name - one that reflects who we are and what we stand for, and we'd love for you to help us shape it.

We're looking for a name that feels:

    • New and forward-looking (without referencing Settle or Paradigm)
    • Connected to housing and the idea of home
    • Easy to say, spell and understand
    • Modern and confident
    • Suitable for all residents and communities.

You might want to think about names that:

    • Reflect the region in which we provide services (e.g., Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and Hertfordshire)
    • Express what "home" means
    • Suggest or imply stability
    • Capture the idea that your home is the foundation for your life.
