We're looking for residents to join our Grounds Maintenance Resident Scrutiny Group and have a real say in how our current ground maintenance service is performing across our communities.
Grounds maintenance is how we keep things like lawns, beds, hedges and shrub areas tidy and well-kept so that the area around your home is safe and pleasant. These areas play an important role in making our neighbourhoods safe, attractive, and enjoyable places to live.
The group will be exploring the following challenge question:
We want to understand why some residents are dissatisfied with the grounds maintenance service, whether the service is being delivered as agreed, how contractor performance is monitored, and what improvements are needed to increase satisfaction.
Why get involved?
As a member of the scrutiny group, you'll have the opportunity to:
Review how the grounds maintenance service is currently delivered.
Examine whether contractors are meeting the required standards.
Ask questions to senior members within that department and suggest recommendations for improvement.
This is your chance to influence real change. Your experiences, ideas, and feedback will help shape future improvements and ensure residents' voices are at the heart of decision-making.
Spaces are limited, so register your interest today.
