Equality, Diversity and Inclusion play a central role in supporting the delivery of our purpose and sits at the heart of everything we do.

Thank you for the feedback we received on our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy. We received 12 comments from 4 survey responses. All contributions are essential to improving this policy, and we're currently reviewing your suggestions.

📢 Here's what we heard:

  • 65% of residents thought the language in the policy was clear
  • 55% of residents thought the policy was easy to understand.

One core theme was raised by residents in response to our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy:

  1. Residents value simple and clear language, with more definitions, so everyone can understand it.

We're now reviewing all feedback and revising the policy based on your input. We'll publish the updated version reflecting your thoughts soon.

We want to make sure this policy truly reflects residents' priorities.

The Equality Act of 2010 makes it unlawful to discriminate against anyone on grounds of age, disability, gender reassignment, race, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, marriage and civil partnership, and pregnancy and maternity. Settle supports its principles and is committed to the values of equality of opportunity and non-discrimination.

This policy outlines our commitment to the Equality Act of 2010, and our commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion principles in all of our activities as a social housing provider.
